Refers to the registered user profile and associated login credentials used by a Restaurant Client or its authorized staff to access and use the Simply Reserve Platform.
"Agreement"
Means these Terms of Service, including the Privacy Policy and any supplemental terms, policies, or addendums referenced or provided by Munal Technology Limited in connection with your use of the Platform.
"Booking Data"
Refers to any reservation-related information entered into the Simply Reserve Platform, including diner names, contact details, party size, reservation times, booking notes, and related metadata.
"Client Content"
Means all data, information, content, and materials (including restaurant branding, table layouts, service zones, user-generated settings, and reservation policies) uploaded, submitted, or created by the Restaurant Client within the Platform.
"Customer" or "Diner"
Refers to an individual making a reservation at a restaurant or venue through the Simply Reserve system, either directly online or via manual entry by restaurant staff.
"Data Controller"
Means the entity (e.g., a Restaurant Client) that determines the purposes and means of processing personal data of diners, in accordance with applicable data protection laws, such as the UK GDPR.
"Data Processor"
Means the entity (Munal Technology Limited) that processes personal data on behalf of the Data Controller (e.g., Restaurant Client) as part of the provision of the Simply Reserve Platform.
"Platform"
Refers to Simply Reserve, the online restaurant reservation and table management system developed and operated by Munal Technology Limited, including its web-based interface, database infrastructure, features, and integrated services.
"Restaurant Client"
Refers to the individual, company, or business entity that registers for and uses the Simply Reserve Platform to manage restaurant reservations and guest services.
"Service(s)"
Means the subscription-based features, tools, software functionality, and technical support provided through the Simply Reserve Platform, as further described in these Terms.
"Stripe"
Refers to the third-party payment processor used by Munal Technology Limited to securely manage and process subscription billing for the Platform. Munal does not store or directly process credit card data.
"User"
Means any individual authorized by a Restaurant Client to access and use the Platform, including administrators, managers, hosts, or other staff with defined permissions.
"You" / "Your"
Means the Restaurant Client and/or its authorized Users who access or use the Simply Reserve Platform.

3. Who May Use the Platform

The Simply Reserve platform is intended solely for use by legitimate businesses and organizations operating in the hospitality industry—such as restaurants, cafĂ©s, pubs, event venues, and similar establishments—that require an online table reservation and guest management system.

It is designed specifically for hospitality businesses—such as restaurants, cafĂ©s, pubs, and event venues—to manage table reservations, coordinate seating operations, communicate with guests, and improve the overall dining experience.

By subscribing to Simply Reserve, restaurants gain access to a full-featured reservation management system that operates through a secure, browser-based interface and supports real-time coordination between restaurant teams and their customers.

4.1 Key Features of the Platform

The Simply Reserve platform includes the following core features, designed to enhance operational efficiency and guest satisfaction:

Simply Reserve is hosted on secure, cloud-based infrastructure with data centers located in the UK or other jurisdictions compliant with the UK GDPR. The platform is accessible through modern web browsers and does not require any software installation or downloads.

We strive to ensure consistent uptime and availability, though access may occasionally be interrupted for scheduled maintenance or urgent system updates (see Section 11).

All clients receive access to support for general questions, onboarding, and technical troubleshooting. Support requests can be submitted via email, and response times may vary based on your service level or subscription plan.

5. Account Registration and Management

To use the Simply Reserve platform, a restaurant or hospitality business must register for an account. By creating an account, you agree to provide accurate and complete information and to maintain its accuracy throughout your use of the platform.

The PIN is set by the Admin during onboarding and provides a second layer of authentication. Keep the PIN confidential and share it only with authorized individuals. If lost or forgotten, contact Munal Technology Limited support for a secure reset.

We are not liable for any business losses, lost reservations, or operational disruptions caused by necessary maintenance or service downtime, provided it is handled in good faith and with reasonable care.

7. Customer Data and Privacy

By using the Simply Reserve platform, both Munal Technology Limited and Restaurant Clients agree to handle personal data in accordance with all applicable data protection laws, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. This section outlines the roles, responsibilities, and permitted uses of diner data collected through the platform.

7.1 Data Ownership and Roles

When diners make reservations through Simply Reserve—whether directly online or manually entered by staff—their personal data is collected and processed within the platform. This includes data such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, reservation times, party size, and special requests.

Restaurant Clients act as the Data Controllers of this diner information. They are responsible for determining the lawful basis of data collection and ensuring compliance with applicable laws when communicating with diners.

Munal Technology Limited acts as a Data Processor, providing the tools and infrastructure for managing diner data on behalf of the restaurant. We process data only in accordance with the instructions and configuration set by the Restaurant Client and do not use it for independent purposes.

7.2 Use of Customer Data by Restaurants

As a Restaurant Client, you may use diner data collected through Simply Reserve for:

Your chosen plan and associated pricing form part of this Agreement once you complete the registration and payment process.

8.2 Payment Processing via Stripe

All subscription payments are processed securely through Stripe, a PCI-compliant third-party payment processor. Munal Technology Limited:

We strive to make Simply Reserve accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, except during planned maintenance windows or unexpected outages beyond our control. While we aim for a high level of uptime (e.g., 99.9 % availability), we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error‑free access.

11.2 Scheduled Maintenance

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Munal Technology Limited and its directors, officers, employees, licensors, and agents shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or expense—direct or indirect—arising from your use of or inability to use the Simply Reserve platform, or from any interruptions, delays, or errors in the operation of the platform.
